If you are hoping to have your daughter play on an AAU team many of the AAU programs have tryouts starting in late summer and early fall. Several clubs also host ‘open gyms’ in August. These open gyms are also used in the evaluation process, so it is important to try and attend, as many spots are secured during this process.
