Lakeville South Girls Basketball Association

This is the home of LSGBA and all girls' basketball at Lakeville South. You will find all information on in-house, traveling, and high school basketball teams on this easy to navigate webpage.  We are proud of our programs that serve over 200+ girls basketball players and are always trying to improve, but we can use your help.  We offer many programs for all ages and skill levels.  It is a great time to be a Cougar girls basketball player!

We would like to thank all the players for coming to tryouts for the 2010-2011 Lakeville South Traveling Season.  As in the past, this year the tryouts were very challenging.  Many girls showed improvement by their hard work over the summer.  Like we stated at the end of the tryouts, every player made a team this year and the goal is to be playing basketball on a team.  It does not matter what team a player is on, A, B or C, they are going to be playing basketball. 

For the most part, everyone will be participating in the same tournaments this year so we will be together throughout the year.  In a sense, we are all "one big team", we are just playing at different levels at the tournaments.  Players, remember what Coach Dalhed said at the tryouts, "You are not being picked to start varsity in 5th or 6th grade, what matters is that you are playing basketball, learning the game and having fun."  Congratulations to you all for being selected to play for the Cougar Basketball Program for the 2010-2011 Season.

The teams are being posted early because we finished the rosters and wanted to take some of the stress of of the players before the long weekend.
